Police are seeking two contractors who allegedly defrauded a Long Beach Township homeowner.

Richard P. Farrant, also known as Rich Robertson, contracted and received a deposit to replace windows at a Long Beach Township home, which was later canceled by the homeowner, according to a release from the Long Beach Township Police Department.

A police investigation ensued after the homeowner contacted authorities, leading to the filing of criminal charges against Richard P. Farrant and Richard C. Farrant, proprietors of Ace Home Services.

Authorities did not specify why the homeowner canceled the contract.
