Doylestown girl tries her hand at weather reporting during Irene

While local weather reporters headed for the Shore to report on Hurricane Irene, Jane Haubrich updated viewers right from her driveway.

The 5-year-old Doylestown resident spent Saturday in the rain keeping people apprised of Irene’s goings-on. First it was just a little rainy, then the wind picked up. And just as things were getting a little scary for Jane and her stuffed puppy, it was Jane’s bedtime.

CNN has the video of Jane, who managed to appear a little more graceful than the wind-blown Shore reporters. Kudos to WHYY’s Mark Eichmann for bringing this to our attention.
