Doughnut stashed with Xanax delivered to New Jersey school

A man delivered a doughnut stuffed with Xanax pills to a New Jersey high school last week, police said.

Police say 21-year-old Brian Perry of Mount Holly told the main office at Bordentown Regional High School that the bag contained lunch for 18-year-old senior Ilker Ceylan of Bordentown Township.

School officials became suspicious, police said, and discovered a small plastic bag containing six prescription pills placed in the doughnut’s hole.

Perry faces drug possession and distribution charges. Ceylan also faces drug possession and distribution charges along with an additional charge of marijuana possession.
