Delaware troopers team up with retail giant to make donation

Over the weekend, Delaware State Troopers delivered bags of toys to children whose parents are dealing with substance abuse and addiction.

In an effort to put smiles on some children’s faces this holiday season, troopers teamed up with local Target stores to stuff at least 50 bags of toys to give away. The 1212 Corporation, an organization dedicated to helping people with various addicitions, also joined the cause to provide toys to those in need on Saturday.

The toys were distributed at the 1212 Corporation’s holiday party in Wilmington, where every child walked away with more than one present.

Target stores in Brandywine, Christiana and Dover all came together to help with donations for the event.
