Deadline to sign up for the Manayunk Arts Festival is Friday

Artists interested in displaying their work at the 24th annual Manayunk Arts Festival have two days left to sign up. The official deadline is Friday, March 1.

The event, which is known as the biggest outdoor festival in the tri-state area, will take place along Manayunk’s Main Street on June 22 and June 23. Approximately 300 artists will be featured at the event and 200,000 people are expected to attend.

“We bring a lot of art that isn’t from around here and make it free and accessible to the community,” said Caitlin Maloney, Manayunk Development Corporation’s marketing and events coordinator. “You get to see a lot of work you’ve never had the chance to before.”

Applications for artists are available at Zapplication.org and applicants should describe their original work, provide photos and mention any previous awards or shows.
