Craigslist killing suspect is lying, sister says

The sister of a woman charged with her newlywed husband in the murder of a man they allegedly lured through Craigslist says her sister is making up the claim that she killed more than 20 people.

The Daily Item of Sunbury reported Tuesday that Miranda Barbour’s sister, Ashley Dean, called Barbour a “master at lying” who is drawing on the escapades of television serial killer “Dexter.”

The 19-year-old Barbour is in Northumberland County court Tuesday for a pretrial hearing.

Barbour made the claim to a Daily Item reporter after being charged with killing a man she allegedly lured through a Craigslist ad offering companionship for money. She has pleaded not guilty.
