Corbett reports $200K in 2013 income

Gov. Tom Corbett, a Republican running for a second term, is reporting $200,000 in adjusted income in 2013.

Corbett released just two pages of his 2013 tax return Tuesday. The Associated Press asked each gubernatorial candidate last week to release their entire tax return for 2013, or 2012 if they had sought an extension.

Democrats Allyson Schwartz and Katie McGinty each released their entire 2012 returns last week, while Tom Wolf and Rob McCord released just two pages of their 2012s return and allowed reporters to view the rest at a campaign office location. Corbett’s Republican primary challenger, Bob Guzzardi, isn’t releasing his.

In 2013, Corbett reported nearly $34,000 in taxes and about $27,000 in deductions and exemptions. Income included $169,000 in salary and $31,000 in taxable retirement account distributions.
