City Council approves billiards parlor for Center City

Lawyers for residents living near a proposed billiards parlor have already vowed to challenge City Council’s approval for the club.

Council approved plans today for the upscale parlor at 12th and Chestnut streets, as KYW reports.

Proposed in February, the plans would bring the upscale pool hall to a now-unused Beneficial Bank building, which neighbors fear will bring noise and related nuisances.
