CHOP partners with Mt. Sinai
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and New York’s Mount Sinai Health System are partnering to offer expanded pediatric care in New York City.
The hospitals announced Wednesday they’re starting off with a pediatric oncology program that will be available at certain Mount Sinai locations.
Kenneth L. Davis, president and Chief Executive Officer of the Mount Sinai system, says the goal “is to offer the highest quality care to pediatric patients” and together the hospitals are “uniquely positioned to recruit and retain the best faculty in the region.”
Madeline Bell, president and CEO of CHOP, says the alliance “emerged from a shared vision and commitment to making the very best care available to more children.”
Development of programs in cardiac care and fetal medicine will follow.
