Camden’s Ronald McDonald House receives grant from Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo may not roll off the tongue as a name for an entertainment venue, but the bank is doing some good in New Jersey.

As part of its Wachovia takeover, which hit the Garden State Feb. 5, Wells Fargo is giving a total of $160,000 to 10 nonprofit organizations, as voted on by customers, the Gloucester County Times reports.

The Ronald McDonald (no relation, I swear) House of Southern New Jersey was one of five in the southern part of the state awarded with a check. The Camden-based nonprofit won the top prize for the region: $30,000.
