Barnegat woman accused of waving rifle at children

Police say a Barnegat woman used a rifle to threaten a group of children.

Police tell The Press of Atlantic City 35-year-old Amanda Ponzio got into an argument with the children. Police say she went into her home and retrieved a rifle.

Ponzio is held on $175,000 bail. She is charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, unlawful possession of a rifle, child endangerment and making terroristic threats,
