ATF joins South Jersey officials in arson-burglary investigation

    The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has joined local officials who are investigating at least five arsons in Atlantic, Cumberland and Gloucester counties in New Jersey.

    According to the South Jersey Times, similarities between the arson-burglaries led authorities to believe there is a connection, though no arrests have yet been made.

    Police reports indicate that thousands of dollars of jewelry and several firearms have been taken in the incidents.
