Amtrak resumes service between Philadelphia and Harrisburg

As of 3 p.m., Amtrak will resume service between Philadelphia and Harrisburg, but trips to New York and Boston are still a no-go.

Hurricane Irene’s last effects are still preventing trains from moving northward, the Patriot-News reports, so Harrisburg is about as far as you’ll get for now.

Meanwhile, things are pretty much back to normal at Harrisburg International Airport, where only one flight to Newark was canceled.
