230 travelers spend stormy night at Philly airport

About 230 people are trying to fly out Thursday after spending the night at Philadelphia International Airport during the post-Christmas storm.

Airport spokeswoman Victoria Lupica says about 60 morning flights have been canceled Thursday, while other flights are experiencing brief delays.

Lupica says that 300 flights were cancelled Wednesday amid driving rain and wind in Philadelphia, and heavy snowfall elsewhere.

At Pittsburgh International Airport, spokeswoman JoAnn Jenny says there are few if any disruptions Thursday. She says 60 to 80 flights were cancelled Wednesday, many due to a ripple effect from other cities hit by the storm.
