Mouths water in Old City as Night Market 2014 debuts with 85 vendors [photos]

The first Night Market of 2014 came to Old City Thursday. Featuring more than 85 vendors, it was the largest Night Market since the food festival began in 2010.

The festival featured food trucks as well as brick-and-mortar restaurants from Old City and around the region.

Inspired by the open-air food markets of Asia, Night Market is put on by the Food Trust of Philadelphia.

Three more Night Markets are scheduled for the year: June 19 in West Oak Lane; August 21 at Lancaster Avenue and 35th Street; and October 2 in Chinatown.
