Since being diagnosed with full-blown AIDS in 1994, he has devoted his life to educating young people to protect themselves against HIV and AIDS. Steve Burch currently works at the AIDS Coalition of Southern New Jersey. In the documentary, we see how people with HIV and AIDS are living full lives and how these new treatments impact the need for AIDS services.

"The demographics are changing -- it's moved so quickly -- it's primarily women and families. About sixty percent women. It used to be, when I first started volunteering, about five years ago, the majority were gay men and IV drug users. And we never had toys in our waiting room."
