Gay Bingo is monitored by BVDs (Bingo Verifying Divas), including Penny Nickels, aka Ralph Orr and Ida Slapter, aka Vince Root.

Penny ("she likes her skirts short and her hair big") and her partner, Ida ("the plus-size BVD"), draw fans wherever they are with their breathtaking gowns and monumental hair. Penny's biggest fan is, of course, his mother who attends Gay Bingo every month.
