The five leading Democratic challengers for the Philadelphia mayoral seat will take part in a live Candidate Forum hosted by The Next Mayor project, Sunday, May 6 at 8:00 p.m. The forum will take place before a live audience at the WHYY Technology Center (150 N. Sixth Street) and will be broadcast on WHYY TV12, 91FM, online at www.TheNextMayor.com and www.whyy.org, on WHYY's digital channels, and made available via Comcast On Demand. The discussion will be moderated by Marty Moss-Coane, host of WHYY 91FM's Radio Times. Questions posed to the candidates will be selected from questions submitted by the audience, which will be comprised of members of The Next Mayor project's Community Network, and invited guests.
Following the Candidate Forum, WHYY will turn the cameras around for a live town hall meeting with the forum audience. Hosted by WHYY's Tracy Matisak and Nancy Karibjanian, the community forum will give Community Network members the opportunity to comment on and address issues that may not be addressed during the forum.
