Welcome to WHYY Afterschool: A Youth Project of the Learning Lab at WHYY
The Afterschool program incorporates video production training, media literacy, and community activism, as students create videos on a topic important to them and their communities. Through the video production process, the youth learn to view media critically and develop the leadership, team-building, and creative skills needed for 21st-century success.
