Q: Who won in the Broadcast Film Critics' Association Awards for 1997? A: Here are all but two. The following are the 1997 CRITICS' CHOICE Awards winners, minus the Best Picture Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award (which will be announced at the ceremony in Los Angeles on January 19, 1998 at the Hotel Sofitel in Los Angeles, produced by Calm Down Productions):
The 123 members of the BFCA are journalists who review movies on television and radio across the country, as well as on the Internet. As a founding member of the nation's largest critics group, I had the honor of writing the tribute to Helena Bonham Carter for her win as Best Actress in this latest Awards Program.
- Jack Nicholson, Helena Bonham Carter and Matt Damon triumphed in the voting for the Broadcast Film Critics Association's "Critics' Choice" awards.
