WHYY's resource for grown-ups who care for children WHYY's Ready To Learn Service is a part of a nationwide initiative by public TV stations to become a more comprehensive educational resource for parents, children, teachers and caregivers in our communities. WHYY-TV12 offers over 60 hours of children's educational television in metropolitan Philadelphia, southern New Jersey and Delaware every week of the year. WHYY's RTL Service also provides seminars on media usage for local teachers and daycare providers; related reading materials; a newsletter for parents, caregivers and teachers; and this Web site.
