Join WHYY and representatives from numerous local arts organizations for the official kick-off event for the 2012 Connections Festival — the NewsWorks.org Connections Salon!
This event is FREE for WHYY and NewsWorks.org members, $10 for non members. NewsWorks.org members also have access to a special reception prior to the event. Registration is required.

Join WHYY and representatives from numerous local arts organizations for the official kick-off event for the 2012 Connections Festival. This exciting event will feature visual art displays, food and drink and performances featuring or inspired by NewsWorks.org's Creative Connectors. The Creative Connectors are a group of 76 Philadelphia area arts leaders selected by LEADERSHIP Philadelphia in recognition of their ability to build community and economic vitality while creating art, culture, or design. This exciting kick off event will celebrate the arts and convene many of these "Connectors" — the unsung heroes who seem to know everyone and get things done "beneath the radar." The list of participating artists and organizations is detailed below.
