Question of the Week

I purchased a “Red Rocket” Crepe Myrtle two years ago specifically because of the bright red blooms that were covering the plant. Last year I anxiously awaited their reappearance, but the flowers that emerged were white!! How did this happen? Is there anything I can do? Please help! Get the answer »

I too have a red rocket crape myrtle, My flowers turned white this year and I listened to your program on why this would happen. I really don’t believe the answer about them not being in full sun will cause this. Mine are in full sun.So I think your Dr. Knox is wrong. Do you have another answer? Because I don’t have a clue. Thanks
