For the first time – scientists have identified a second generation star – one made up of the remnants of the earliest stars ever. The spectrogram shows that the proportion of elements that make up the star is skewed toward a lack of heavy elements. The first generation stars – the first ever to exist – would’ve shown the least amount of heavier elements – reaching only just beyond lithium in metal development through TNF. Finding this star gives us our closest connection to the earliest stars of our universe and adds another piece of evidence supporting the theoretical concepts of the early history of the universe. Equation of time is zero today!
