Post-Newtown
On Dec. 14, a young man named Adam Lanza slaughtered 20 first graders and five adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, after killing his mother and before killing himself. The massacre stunned a nation grown used to mass shootings. The tragic loss of so many beloved children galvanized not one, but many national debates, including gun control, mental health, school safety and national politics. Radio Times with Marty Moss-Coane has devoted many shows to the aftermath and consequences of the Newtown massacre, and we're posting them here.
