September 8, 2017

Guests: Josh Shapiro, Joseph Menn, Gabriel Vecchi

President Trump announced the end of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program this week, allowing a six month delay to give Congress time to pass a legislative alternative. Now attorneys general from 15 states and from D.C. are suing the Trump administration over the decision to end DACA.  Pennsylvania’s Attorney General JOSH SHAPIRO is part of the lawsuit.  We start out this hour talking with Shapiro about the suit and President’s decision on DACA.  Then, more information about Kremlin-tied groups attempting to digitally meddle in the 2016 presidential election has surfaced. We’ll talk with Reuters reporter JOSEPH MENN about the latest. Finally, as Irma moves toward the Florida, we’ll talk with Princeton University geoscientist, GABRIEL VECCHI, about the hurricane, storm prediction and the role of climate change.
