Guest: Dominic Tierney

[From the Radio Times archive] We haven’t won a war in seventy years. Since the end of World War II, America has been plagued by military defeats or stalemates across the globe. In his new book The Right Way to Lose a War: America in an Age of Unwinnable Conflicts, DOMINIC TIERNEY observes the ways in which the U.S. military hasn’t been able to adapt to modern guerrilla warfare. He also outlines several strategies on how to wage war differently and to minimize on the loss of human life. In this hour of Radio Times, he speaks with Marty about his new book and the current conflicts we find ourselves engaged with today. He joined us earlier this month.
