Celebrity chef Michael Solomonov

August 14, 2014

Guest: Michael Solomonov

In a recent New York Times piece, local celebrity chef, Michael Solomonov, revealed the severity of his addiction to hard drugs.  This is especially shocking considering that Solomonov, and his partner, Steve Cook, are bona fide successful serial restaurateurs, specializing in modern Israeli cuisine. Their restaurants include Zahav, Percy Street Barbecue, Federal Donuts, and most recently, a hummusiya called Dizengoff.  MICHAEL SOLOMONOV joins Marty in-studio for an hour to discuss his struggles with drugs, coping with the loss of his brother, and the inherent uniqueness of Israeli food.
