A child of hoarding: Kimberly Rae Miller
ListenHR 1
GUEST: KIMBERLY RAE MILLER
[From the Radio Times archives] KIMBERLY RAE MILLER didn’t know the word ‘hoarding’ until she was a senior in high school, but she grew up around piles of newspapers, rats kept her up at night and she was often afraid a flea would jump off her at school. She kept up her grades and the appearances of a normal, middle class Long Island teenager, but finally had to come to terms with how and why her parents kept such a squalid home. Marty spoke to the actress and free-lance writer about her memoir last year. It’s called “Coming Clean.”
