Last week a bill to combat human trafficking passed unanimously in the Pennsylvania State Senate. The legislation strengthens the prosecution of criminals, educates first responders and increases awareness about trafficking crimes. Sex trafficking, where people (often women and children) are forced or coerced into the commercial sex trade, appears to be on the rise. This hour, how to fight sex trafficking in our region and how to support the victims of this horrible crime.
