Obama: Leadership and legacy

Listen

Guests: Julian Zelizer, Margaret Talev

President Obama has had a tough time lately. The rollout of his signature health care law has continued to plague him.  In addition to the massive website problems, last week Obama had to apologize for the fact that some Americans have lost their health plans despite his earlier assurances that they could keep them.  And then there are the embarrassing revelations about NSA spying on both foreign leaders and Americans.  So with Obama’s approval ratings at an all-time low, what does all this mean for his Presidency, his leadership, the Democratic party and the GOP?  Marty is joined by JULIAN ZELIZER, Professor of History and Public Affairs at Princeton University and MARGARET TALEV, White House correspondent for Bloomberg News.
