Yesterday was a busy day in the news. Opening arguments began in the case against George Zimmerman for the shooting death of Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012. Hiram University political scientist JASON JOHNSON has been covering the events from Sanford, Florida and joins us to talk about the trial and its impact on the community. Also yesterday, the Supreme Court issued its long-awaited ruling on Fisher vs. Texas. Drexel University law professor DAVID COHEN explains the decision and what it could mean for the future of affirmative action in higher education. Finally, the Senate is debating an immigration reform bill that could legalize millions of undocumented immigrants and increase security at the border. FAWN JOHNSON of National Journal gets us up-to-date on the likelihood of its passage
