March 8, 2013

Guest: Duncan Wall

Have you ever dreamed of running off to join the circus?¬† That’s exactly what DUNCAN WALL did.¬† After studying the circus in Paris he became so intrigued he decided to apply to the prestigious Ecole Nationale des Arts du Cirques and, to his surprise, was accepted.¬† Soon he was tumbling, juggling, clowning and flying thru the air on a flying trapeze.¬† Wall chronicles his experience under the big top in his new memoir, The Ordinary Acrobat: A Journey into the Wondrous World of the Circus, Past and Present.¬† He talks to guest host Maiken Scott about circus life, culture and history.
