Assessing Hillary Clinton’s legacy

February 1, 2013

Hillary Clinton officially departs the State Department today after logging nearly 1 million miles and visiting 112 countries during her four years of service to the Obama administration.   While the public adores her (according to a Wall Street Journal/NBC poll, 69% of Americans approve of the job she has done), foreign policy scholars and diplomats are divided.  In this hour of Radio Times, we’ll take look at Hillary Clinton’s legacy as Secretary of State and at the challenges that await her successor John Kerry.  We’ll get perspectives from Ambassador JAMES DOBBINS and foreign policy analyst KORI SCHAKE.
