Sarah Palin: Unlikely Liberal

January 14, 2013

Since her selection as Republican vice-presidential candidate in the 2008 election, Sarah Palin has become a popular partisan voice in conservative politics – she’s a strong Tea Party supporter and a commentator on FoxNews.  But for people who have followed her career from her days as governor of Alaska, Palin’s record reveals very different political leanings – a politician who was progressive, especially on fiscal policies, bipartisan and pragmatic.
