The first presidential debate analyzed
October 4, 2012
The fact-checkers checked the facts, the spinners spun and the candidates are back on the campaign trail after last night’s first presidential debate in Denver, Colorado. Did we learn anything new about how they would lead the country in the next four years? Did they make the case for their election to the White House? Was their first meeting a game-changer? We turn to two veteran politicos to get reaction to last night’s presidential debate. Our guests are nine-term U.S. Congressman from Delaware MIKE CASTLE, a Republican, and Democrat MARK NEVINS, who served as the Pennsylvania communications director for the 2008 Hillary Clinton for President campaign, as well as the communications director for the 2004 Kerry/Edwards campaign in Pennsylvania.
