October 3, 2012

Hour 1

The stage is set, the¬† candidates have been prepped and their campaign advisers have been busy lowering expectations for the outcome of tonight’s presidential debate.¬†¬† This evening, for the first time, voters will have a chance to see President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney side-by -side as they weigh in and challenge each other on domestic policy, especially as it relates to the economy.¬† What can we expect to hear tonight, what’s at stake and do debates even matter?¬† Our guests in this hour of Radio Times are political scientists ALAN SCHROEDER of Northeastern University and JOHN SIDES of George Washington.
