Hour 1

It’s been a month and a half since the Occupy Wall Street protests started in New York’s Zuccotti Park. Since then, anti-Wall Street demonstrations have spread to cities around the country and world, drawing attention to the issues of corporate greed, political corruption and the widening wealth gap. But some worry that the movement could end up hurting liberals instead of helping them. This hour, we check in on the Occupy movement, its message and its influence, with WILL BUNCH, senior writer for the Philadelphia Daily News and WILL MARSHALL, President and founder of the Progressive Policy Institute. Then, how are cities coping with the protests?  We’ll talk with Philadelphia’s Managing Director RICHARD NEGRIN about how Philly is handling it.
