Palliative Care physician DAVID CASARETT has spent a lot of time with people in their final days of life. In his new book Last Acts: Discovering Possibility and Opportunity at the End of Life, he discusses the choices people make in the their final days and how those choices affect friends and family. This hour, we talk to DAVID CASARETT, an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, about the lessons he has learned from terminally ill patients as they face death.
