Ben Vaughn
Ben Vaughn grew up in the Philadelphia area on the New Jersey side of the river. At age 6 his uncle gave him a Duane Eddy record and forever changed his life. In 1983 he formed the Ben Vaughn Combo, releasing two albums and touring the US several times. They received rave reviews in Rolling Stone and People magazine and video airplay on MTV. He worked as an award winning composer for several TV sitcoms, and recorded an entire album in his ’65 Rambler! He continues to release albums and hosts a national weekly broadcast on WXPN entitled The Many Moods of Ben Vaughn.

this is the music i grew up to and danced to... an ALL AMERICAN BAND.. all AMERICAN GUY, BEN VAUGHN... I think you have me hooked .betty

Hi Betty, You are so right when you say "All American"! Ben and his Quintet not only put on a fantastic show musically, but their lyrics and wit on stage will leave you feeling great after a show. Who else would toss a hubcap at a drummer randomly and expect the drummer to hit it on beat within a song? The guys are all genuine and we at On Canvas are also hooked. Ben Vaughn he's got that sound that is so familiar but yet so eclectic very fresh but has hints of reminisience kinda like pancakes many different ingredients but one taste.. truck on Ben Vaughn Truck on......
