Wednesday is our last full day of summer marking where the earth comes to a particular point at its orbit around the sun. It’s between this day and the first day of winter where the sun’s position is sinking south of the equator. The full cycle brings us back to the highest point, which is the first day of summer. Don’t miss the harvest moon on Thursday; the full moon that is closest to the autumnal equinox. There are also plenty of planets to be seen overhead, but some are quite difficult to see.
