Mission to the moon

48 years ago Alan Shepard led the first American mission into space on the heels of Russian cosmonaught Yuri Gagarin. Ten years later while making big leaps for mankind on a mission to the moon he brought out a six-iron and took a swing sealing his place in the history of the space race.
