Dog walker struck and killed near Newark

Delaware State Police are still investigating the crash that claimed the life of 36-year-old Terri Schall of Newark.
Schall was walking with two others along Otts Chapel Road around 10:50 Tuesday night when she was struck and killed by a passing car. She was hit by another passing car before she was taken to Christiana Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police say Schall was trying to cross the roadway with her dog when she was hit. So far, no charges have been filed.
