UD wins inaugural First State Cup

The Blue Hens used a strong second half to capture the first edition of the Route 1 Rivalry 27-17. UD quarterback Pat Devlin rushed for 2 touchdowns and threw for another to lead the Hens, who improve to 2-1 this season and 2-0 lifetime against DSU. The Hornets fall to 0-2 this season, despite matching UD in total yardage with 342 yards. The game broadcast on WHYY will be rebroadcast Sunday morning at 10:30am on WHYY-Arts channel.
