Mega Shark not actual size

The Academy of Natural Sciences says it's not true that a giant shark and an enormous octopus are destroying the Western Coast of the United States. Tonight, the Academy will screen the film "Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus" while a panel of scientists simultaneously explain why the film is not based on any recognizable science.
"Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus" is a 2008 low-budget disaster film is based on the idea that an enormous shark and a similarly-sized octopus have been locked in ice for millions of years. Then they thaw out.
Jason Pool is the manager of the Dinosaur Room at the Academy of Natural Sciences, and says the film show some very un-shark-like behavior.
This shark leaps out of the ocean at an airplane – this is a mile-high leap – to grab the airplane.
Why would the the shark even be interested in something a mile over it's head? It's not like it's tasted airplane before and went, hey! that was really good.
During the screening, Pool will be joined by fellow Academy scientist Paul Callaman – an expert on squids. Callaman has nothing against schlock, but this time…it's personal.
It's fine to make bad movies – there's a lot of room for irony. But when you encroach on our expertise and flagrantly mock science and you're laying yourself open for counter-attack.
The film features former teen-pop singer Debbie Gibson in the lead role. Beer will be served.
