Home sales are down just about everywhere, and the Jersey Shore is no exception. But rentals are another story. Realtor Jeff Stull of Century 21 in Ocean City says to adjust to the economy, people are renting properties for their summer vacations at lower prices.

Stull: You can get something for 500 dollars a week or you could spend 15 thousand dollars a week depending on what location and if you are on the beach how big a property it is. There is really something for everyone in Ocean City which is the great thing about it.

Beach resorts are working to bring tourists down using any means possible for the summer season. Margate is waiving beach tags one day a week, while Ocean City is offering more free entertainment for tourists.
