Scientists say research on learning is being ignored

Students of all ages and their instructors try to find the best methods to make material stick – from vocabulary to historical facts and math equations. But some scientists say many accepted approaches to optimal learning are not in accordance with the latest cognitive science. WHYY’s Behavioral Health reporter Maiken Scott spoke with psychologist Dan Gottlieb:
