Are cell phones putting a strain on relationships?

Four of ten adults who use text messaging say the little notes sent on their cell phones play a significant role in their romantic relationships – that's according to an AT&T survey. But as therapist Dr. Dan Gottlieb points out – cell phones and other wireless communication tools can also be disruptive in relationships, and create stress. WHYY's Behavioral Health Reporter Maiken Scott talks with Dr. Dan Gottlieb, host of "Voices in the Family."
