Waiting for a kidney

A new University of Pennsylvania study suggests money could prompt more people to donate a kidney. But it’s an idea that raises a lot of sticky ethical questions. While ethicists debate that controversy, in the African American community, misinformation and mistrust may be the biggest barriers to kidney donation. Advocates are fighting back with basic education. But experts say the most convincing message is simply letting African Americans know that their neighbors are in need. Watch the report:
