Hi Martha, The AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) partners with Aetna and other major health insurance companies to offer a low cost Essential Premier Health Insurance plan. If you had coverage within 63 days of applying for the AARP program, pre-existing conditions may be waived. You must be between the ages of 50-64 to be eligible to apply for yourself and your dependents may be age 64 or under to apply for coverage.
